Text Box: This is a required site for The American Short Story course at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. My site is dedicated to short story author Ann Beattie and her work “Janus”. The site includes a summary of the story, Beattie’s biography, and my own close reading of the work. There is also an annotated bibliography of scholarly and internet articles that examine literary elements of the story. A collection of images relating to the story is also included on the site.
